Rules for Submission

Please read the submission rules before submitting an abstract.

Abstracts are to be submitted and presented in English.

All abstracts must be submitted by the deadline indicated on this page. Late submissions will not be considered.

Submissions are only accepted via the official online abstract submission portal. Abstracts submitted by email cannot be accepted.

The Organizing Committee reserves the right to decide whether a submission will be accepted, and the right to determine the presentation form. All accepted abstracts will be presented as posters. A limited number of abstracts will be selected for oral presentations.

The abstract submission constitutes a formal commitment by the author to present the abstract in the poster session and time slot assigned by the Scientific Committee.

The presenter will be required to register and pay for the Congress to ensure their abstract(s) is included in the final program and a digital abstract book. If the presenter fails to register and pay, her/his abstract will be excluded from the scientific programme and publication.

Upon submission, both the submitter and the co-authors will receive an email containing all information about the abstract. The abstract text will also be attached to that email. Authors are advised to proofread their abstracts because abstracts will be reproduced from the online submission. Any error in spelling, grammar or data will appear in the programme and online on this website.

Notification of acceptance or rejection by the Scientific Committee will be emailed to the submitting author. Detailed information in which format the abstract is accepted (poster presentation or Best-of-Abstract) as well as guidelines and recommendations for each abstract type will be sent shortly after notifications to registered submitting authors.
